Dr. Gerardo D. Quiñones-Whitmore, better known by his patients as Dr. Q, has been practicing dentistry since 1986. He had a private practice in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico for 20 years, then relocated to Tucson AZ and now resides in Beeville TX, a town he describes as "a place I can finally call home". Since his graduation from University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry in 1984, one of the top American Dental Association accredited schools, Dr. Quiñones continued his training with a hospital residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and a second year as Chief Resident of the Dental Department. Dr. Quiñones brings a wealth of experience and quality dentistry to Beeville as well as a pleasant and friendly manner.
Dr. Quiñones carries a clear vision to help his patients receive the dental care they need to have a better quality life and overall well-being.
Through extensive education and training, Dr. Quiñones has established himself in the field of dentistry and Implant Dentistry. In his pursuit of better serving his patients and being up-to-date on dentistry, Dr. Quiñones has accumulated over 3,000 hours of Continued Education. He is a graduate of Creating Restorative Excellence (now Kois Center for Dental Education), Maxicourse in Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry, Spear Education, oral sedation and others.
Dr. Quiñones is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a past Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry. His passion for dentistry has led him to organized study clubs to further develop the knowledge of dentistry in Puerto Rico, Arizona and Oklahoma.
